Join the Effort

The success of the Sustainable Oregon Schools Initiative is contingent on support and participation from interested schools, organizations and individuals. Please help out with your special interest or knowledge. There are several ways you can choose to be involved.

Join the email list

Those on the contact list will receive monthly e-news bulletins about project status and school sustainability, and will occasionally be asked to comment on aspects of the project. To be added to our email list, click here.

Be part of the action, be on a Topic Team

You can choose to participate in one or more Topic Teams. Members will include topic specialists, school representatives and other stakeholder participants. It is anticipated that Topic Teams will have about 5 meetings over 2-3 months. Meetings will be in person or by conference call. In these calls each team will create a vision and definition of sustainability for that topic, develop indicators and metrics and identify or create useful resources to help schools progress.
